Candace M. Baker hails from the Greater Richmond area of Virginia and is an avid connoisseur of music. Her passion for writing sprouted through the creation of songs on playgrounds which later blossomed into creating poetry, ballads and songs. She is a tennis player, deep appreciator of nature and loves to immerse herself in all things related to the urban outdoors. Candace is a graduate of Old Dominion University and in addition to using poetry as a creative outlet, she is a novelist and songstress with hopes of reaching hearts and minds that will contribute to making a better world.
